Return & Exchange

We will accept merchandise for exchange or store credit in accordance with the following return policy.

  • All exchanges must be pre-authorized by Customer Service. Contact us at 1-732-915-4449 to speak to a Customer Service Representative.

  • To obtain your store credit or exchange, the item must be returned to us, unopened and in its original packaging, with all accessories, within 30 days of the date upon which we provided the item to the carrier for shipment to you.

Gift Cards are non-returnable and may only be redeemed for merchandise or services.
For hygienic purposes all sales of The New York Shaving Company Razors are final.

*This includes The New York Shaving Company Disposable Blade Straight Razor.

You must also follow the Exchange Procedures specified below.

  • You must have purchased the item from us at www.nyshavingcompany.com. Items purchased in store can only be exchanged in store with the original receipt and original method of payment available. Gift receipts are eligible for merchandise exchange or store credit only.

  • Once approved for exchange, Customer Service will send you an e-mail.

  • For all returns other than damaged, defective or incorrectly-shipped items (see below), you will be responsible for the shipping charges to return the item.

  • Securely pack the item(s) you are returning and include a copy of your original packing slip along in an appropriately sized box. Ship the item only to the address provided to you by Customer Service when obtaining your return authorization. The New York Shaving Company cannot be held responsible for returns shipped outside our returns procedure.

  • After we receive, inspect and process your return, a store credit will be issued in accordance with our Exchange Procedures below.

Defective, damaged or incorrect items.

  • If you received a damaged or defective item from us, or the wrong item was shipped to you, you will not be responsible for return shipping charges, and we will not charge any restocking or other fee in connection with the return. In addition, you will receive a full refund for the item or a new replacement..

  • Once approved for return, Customer Service will send you an e-mail including your return authorization and a USPS label to print..

  • We cannot accept items back that have been opened or used unless the item was received by you in a damaged or defective condition..

  • To obtain your refund or replacement, the defective, damaged or incorrect item must be returned to us, unopened and in its original packaging, with all accessories, within 30 days of the date upon which we provided the item to the carrier for shipment to you.

  • Apply the shipping label on the package to be returned. To locate the nearest USPS drop-off location, please visit www.usps.com

  • Damaged or defective items returned without their original packaging will not receive a refund.
